The DRIVE-IN restaurant,
with its neon lights, airport terminal architecture, the aroma
of hamburgers and the lure of a cold drink, was a “vision
of paradise” to many. From the 1950’s through the 1960’s
it beckoned the teenagers in their hot rods. Most DRIVE-IN restaurants
are gone... but the memories can live on through Mark Millet’s
exciting and colorful painting.
